Hendershot Wins WEXCT, AWRCS Titles with Maverick

Can-Am GNCC Racers Win Five Morning Classes; Zakowski Dominant in Iowa

Valcourt, Québec, September 24, 2014 – The JB Off-Road / Hendershot Performance / Can-Am® X-Team recently captured two regional racing championships with its Maverick™1000R X® rs side-by-side vehicle. Can-Am ATV racers also won five morning classes, the morning overall and all four 4x4 classes, at round 11 of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country series in Pennsylvania. In Iowa, Zac Zakowski earned three wins racing his Can-Am ATV and side-by-side.“Hendershot Performance had a fabulous season, winning both the AWRCS UTV Open class championship and the WEXCR UTV title. Larry Hendershot Jr., and his team have done a spectacular job this season putting the Maverick in the spotlight,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “It was a good weekend for our ATV woods racers, as our team of GNCC 4x4 racers continued their championship chases by winning all four 4x4 classes at round 11 and Zac Zakowski put together a dominating weekend in Iowa.”

Veglia Earns Third in Can-Am Maverick at Glen Helen

Valcourt, Québec, September 16, 2014 – Can-Am® Maverick™ side-by-side pilot Pablo Veglia earned third place in the competitive SxS Pro Class at round eight of the World Off-Road Championship Series held in Devore, Calif. “Pablo Veglia put in a podium-worthy performance behind the wheel of his Maverick at Glen Helen, especially considering the tough course, number of entries and extremely high temperatures,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am.

Can-Am Pilots Post Endurance Racing Wins

ATV and Side-By-Side Racers Victorious in GNCC, TORN Series

Valcourt, Québec, September 10, 2014 – Can-Am® ATV and side-by-side racers won a total of seven classes at both the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) and Texas Off-Road Nationals racing series over the weekend. Can-Am 4x4 racers won three of four classes and earned eight GNCC podiums at the Can-Am Unadilla in New York. TORN racers Hunter and Cody Miller each notched wins aboard their Can-Am vehicles in Texas. “Our Can-Am 4x4 racers had a nice weekend in New York, competing for the first time after the long GNCC summer break. The remaining four GNCC rounds are important because it’s the final push towards a class championship. We had three class wins and put two on the 4x4 Pro class podium to maintain our points lead, so we were pleased with the results,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “Cody and Hunter Miller, were outstanding once again in the TORN series, each winning a class and tallying two podiums apiece.”
