IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich.  (Nov. 19, 2012) — Full-time firefighter and part-time snow removal contractor, Connor Hedge, 24, of Westfield, Mass., is the proud owner of a new Power-V XT Snowplow, one of two Grand Prizes in the Heavy Metal Sweepstakes sponsored by THE BOSS Snowplow and Gravely® in September. The snowplow was recently installed by THE BOSS distributor Ken’s Auto Sales, 921 Main St., Holyoke, Mass.“I’ve been wanting a BOSS V-plow for a long time, so when I learned that I won it was a tremendous thrill and surprise for me,” said Hedge, who is a paramedic and firefighter with the Westfield Fire Department.  Hedge operates a part-time snow removal contracting business and he said his new BOSS Power-V XT will enhance his productivity to help him get the job done faster when servicing his local accounts. “I’ve always been impressed with THE BOSS’ reputation for quality and durability, so this plow is a welcome addition.” 

November 27, 2012 - In celebration of the Triple Crown of Surfing, Alpinestars will be heading up numerous activities on the island of Oahu, HI. In support of our surfers, keep your eyes out for the Alpinestars brand ambassador team who will be combing the beaches of Sunset and Pipe handing out freebies to the masses. Keeping true to our motorsports heritage, Alpinestars will be taking over Kahuku MX Park for race day on Sunday, December 2. There, we will be raffling off autographed gear, running a design-your-own-boot contest, and giving away lunch catered by Wahoo’s to all who attend. CYPRESS, Calif. – November 19, 2012 – Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A.’s, OHV Access Initiative – the industry leader in Guaranteeing Responsible Access to our Nation’s Trails (GRANTs) – approved new funding last month that will help seven different organizations across six states.These organizations are helping to implement Yamaha’s mission of supporting safe, responsible riding and open, sustainable riding areas through a variety of projects on the ground level.  Since its inception in 2008, the Yamaha OHV Access Initiative has funded nearly 200 such projects across the country.
