Jagged X Takes Parker 250 in RANGER RZR S

Minneapolis, January 12, 2011 – To open the first Best in the Desert race of 2011, the Parker 250, Jagged X chose to run their champion-winning former project X rock crawler to ring in the new race year. The No. 1919 did what it does best, win!Jagged X had to overcome a poor starting draw of 12th and 15 other side-by-sides to take the checkered flag. The local rains kept the dust to a minimum and gave Brandon Schueler and co-driver Mike West the ability to pick off competitors one-by-one and finish first.“We are very pleased to begin the year with a win,” said Bill Schueler of Jagged X. “This season should prove to be a very exciting one and we are excited to debut our new car in April.”

Polaris Announces 2011 Race Teams and Contingency

Polaris to have representation in various series

Minneapolis, January 4, 2011 –Polaris comes into the 2011 race season with teams competing in the Grand National Cross Country series (GNCC), World Off-Road Championship series (WORCS), Best in the Desert (BITD), TORC, LUCAS and Mud racing. Polaris also will continue to offer their ATV racing contingency program.“Polaris is excited for another year of ATV and Side-by-Side Racing,” said Donna Beadle, race team manager for Polaris’ Off-Road Division. “We hope to continue our momentum with the Sportsman XP 850 and are excited to introduce our new RANGER RZR XP 900 to Side-by-Side racing.”

Best Big Bore Sport ATV - The 2010 Polaris 525 S

No other big bore sport ATV can match the power to weight ratio of the Polaris 525S. Torque from the KTM motor is outstanding and the ability to raise the front wheels at any time makes it an absolute blast to ride. We’ve raced the 525S in the woods and on the motocross track; with its lighter weight and more aggressive stance, it easily out handles other big bore sport ATVs. We really like the stock Maxxis tires which hold up well and get good traction on soft loam, but in the sand they also steer very well because of the front center rib.
