LAS VEGAS – The Chevrolet Silverado Polaris ACE+ concept shows that while Chevy’s full-size truck was designed for work, it also works hard to enable recreational interests. The outdoors-themed concept debuts at the SEMA Show this week and is paired with the new Polaris® ACE™ – a revolutionary single-seat, sit-in off-road vehicle launched earlier this year. The concept truck is based on the production 2015 Silverado 1500 crew cab with a 6-foot-6-inch cargo bed and the Z71 Off-Road package.

Among the year’s highlights for team blue, Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson celebrated a record sixth QuadX Series championship, Chad Wienen took his third straight AMA Racing title, and Yamaha received the AMA Pro ATV Manufacturer’s title for the third year in a row. “I’m proud to cap off this racing season with my sixth QuadX championship,” Nelson said. “The 2014 YFZ450R ran flawlessly at every event carrying me all the way to the #1 plate!”

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (October 28, 2014) – Coming off a solid second place finish at the last round, Team Big Country Powersports headed into Saturday’s Ironman GNCC season finale with a fighting chance at claiming the XC1 Modified National Championship. Sitting 28 points behind the class leader, Team Driver John Yokley and his passenger Jarrod McClure gave it everything they had to go home with a win in Crawfordsville, Indiana.It was an ideal weekend for racing at the Ironman GNCC, an event that is known for its crazy hill climbs and tough terrain. The Ironman GNCC saw almost 90 side-by-side entries—including 38 in XC1 Modified alone—showcasing the largest racer turnout of the season.

Valcourt, Québec, October 28, 2014 – Kyle Chaney won the 2014 XC1 Modified SxS championship, Marcus Pratt took home the XC2 Limited SxS title, both in Can-Am® Maverick™ 1000R side-by-side vehicles, and Bryan Buckhannon captured the 4x4 Pro title on his Renegade® 800R X® xc at the pinked-out AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country series finale in Crawfordsville, Ind. Can-Am Racers posted podium sweeps in both the premier 4x4 Pro and XC1 Modified SxS classes at the Ironman event, concluding the year in dominating fashion. “This particular GNCC season was amazing because we won every class where our team-supported racers competed in,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “Kyle Chaney put together a very consistent season, easily winning the XC1 Modified class in his Maverick 1000R. Bryan Buckhannon simply outran the competition on his way to winning the inaugural 4x4 Pro division, a class that saw us take the top three spots. CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (October 28, 2014) – The Polaris/Coastal/CST/National Guard/Yoshimura/Yokley Racing Team captured a top five finish at the Ironman GNCC finale on Saturday in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The final stop of the 2014 GNCC Side-by-Side Championship drew the highest number of Side-by-Side entries all season with almost 90 cars, including 38 entries in the XC1 Modified division alone.The Ironman GNCC is notorious for its treacherous obstacles, especially in unfavorable weather conditions, but this year’s event saw plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching the 70-degree mark. That, coupled with the thousands of spectators scattered throughout the woods, made for an ideal weekend of racing in Indiana.
