CYPRESS, Calif. – February 24, 2014 – Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., has donated a new Special Edition Tactical Black Viking EPS SxS vehicle to the SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation. The Assembled in U.S.A. Vikingwill be auctioned at an upcoming Foundation fundraiser near San Diego with proceeds going to the organization’s mission of supporting SEAL members’ families. The SEAL-NSW Family Foundation is a San Diego based 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that raises awareness and funds for special programs in direct support of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) families on a local, national and global scale. CYPRESS, Calif. – January 14, 2014 – Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., today introduced the latest version of the new Viking EPS Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicle, the Special Edition (SE) Tactical Black Viking.  Assembled in the U.S.A. and announced at the annual SHOT Show in Las Vegas, the new SE Viking combines an aggressive flat black painted appearance and popular accessories with classic Yamaha durability and off-road capabilities. The new Tactical Black Viking EPS 4x4 boasts all of the category-leading features of Yamaha’s standard Viking SxS plus molded sun top, overfenders, mud flaps, an under-seat storage box, bed rail accessory mounts and exclusive black cast aluminum wheels.

January 2014; Westmore, VT—In its new lineup of larger side-by-side utility vehicles, Yamaha Motor Corporation has introduced the 2014 Yamaha Viking, a new UTV model that readily accommodates the Kimtek® MEDLITE Transport skid units.  The Viking FI 4X4 and the FI 4X4 EPS UTVs each have a cargo bed capacity of 600 pounds, ideally suited to carry the MEDLITE Transport unit with attendant, patient, and gear.

8/9/13, Corona, CA - STI Tire & Wheel had the opportunity last week to become the first aftermarket company to bolt tire and wheel products onto the new, 2014 Yamaha Viking side-by-side.We were invited over to Yamaha headquarters in Cypress, California. We brought along a set of 28-inch Roctane XD tires mounted on HD2 wheels (4/110 bolt pattern, 5+2 offset - same as the Yamaha Rhino). The lug nut studs are 12mm so we used STI Lug Nut Part # LUG8, which is a 12mm x 1.25 tapered lug nut.

NEWNAN, Ga. – July 25, 2013 – Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., has started shipping the first Viking Side-by-Side vehicles from its U.S. manufacturing facility in Newnan, Georgia, and company executives recently held a special event there to celebrate the all-new vehicle and increased U.S. production. Every Yamaha Viking distributed throughout the United States and around the world will come from Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America (YMMC).  To handle the increased production, the factory has opened a second plant that is dedicated to the Viking and future SxS models.
