KENNESAW, Ga. – May 10, 2017 – Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, is The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series’ Checkered Flag sponsor for all UTV classes for the 2017 season. Along with the Checkered Flag sponsorship, Yamaha Viking Side-by-Sides (SxS) will serve as track maintenance and support vehicles while the pure sport YXZ1000R SxS will be the official pace car for all Pro UTV classes.

   KENNESAW, Ga. – February 15, 2017 – Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, announces the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiativeawarded more than $350,000 in funds and equipment to 26 grant recipients in 2016. The final grants for 2016 comprised more than $73,000 awarded to four recipients, including support for both National Hunting and Fishing Day (NHF Day) and the Progressive Agricultural Foundation’s Safety Day program. 

KENNESAW, Ga. – October 3, 2016 – Yamaha Racing’s Walker Fowler earned his second-straight Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) XC1 Pro ATV championship piloting his Yamaha YFZ450R. Placing on the podium at the Powerline Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio, Fowler captured the series title with one round remaining.

 CYPRESS, Calif. – August 8, 2015 – Yamaha Racing’s Chad Wienen once again defended his title at the AMA Pro ATV MX Series Championship with his fourth consecutive title, becoming only the second person in ATV MX history to accomplish this feat, and the third in ATV MX history to be named a four-time champion. Yamaha Racing’s Thomas Brown also had another great season finishing third overall and helping Yamaha secure the coveted manufacturers’ cup again for the fourth straight year.
