Yamaha Supported 2016 ATV and Side-by-Side Racers Dominate YXZ1000R and YFZ450R Lead National and Regional Series of 2016  

KENNESAW, Ga. – October 10, 2016 – Yamaha’s supported Side-by-Side (SxS) racer Dustin Nelson has won the Lucas Oil Regional Off-Road Racing Series of Southern California, followed by Yamaha-supported Corry Weller in the Production 1000 class. The two held the first and second place spots in the series standings the entire season piloting Yamaha’s YXZ1000R pure sport SxS.

KENNESAW, Ga. – October 3, 2016 – Yamaha Racing’s Walker Fowler earned his second-straight Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) XC1 Pro ATV championship piloting his Yamaha YFZ450R. Placing on the podium at the Powerline Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio, Fowler captured the series title with one round remaining.

Yamaha Racing’s Chad Wienen defends his title in the AMA Pro ATV MX Series with his fifth consecutive championship, placing him second among all-time ATV motocross champions. Wienen’s victory further solidifies his position as the most successful ATV racer of the 21st century.

KENNESAW, Ga. – September 12, 2016 – Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, today announces additional models and accessories for their 2017 model year lineup. The 2017 Yamaha YXZ1000R pure sport Side-by-Side (SxS), along with an all-new Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) torque assist gear kit for the YXZ1000R, will be available in dealerships this month. A new Special Edition (SE) Tactical Black Kodiak 700 ATV will also be available starting in October for the fall riding season.
