KYMCO

A few months ago, we tested a KYMCO UXV 500i Side x Side in the rocks of Moab, Utah.  Recently we had a chance to try an all-new 2013 MOAB Special Edition UXV 500i across the road from Charlotte Motor Speedway.  KYMCO had a big surprise waiting for us with the Moab Special Edition UXV 500i, but it wasn’t their only new model.  They’re also introducing two new ATVs, including one with their biggest engine yet.  

Last year we spent a couple days prowling around the woods of South Carolina on KYMCO’s UXV 500i and it performed extremely well crawling over downed timber, crossing streams and mud holes, and maneuvering through the tight trees.  This year we would be giving the UXV an entirely new challenge and rather than the Eastern woods, we would be taking it into some of the toughest, yet most beautiful terrain on the planet.  Saddle up for UTAH!

The term MONEYBALL was first used to describe an enormously disadvantaged Oakland A’s professional baseball team’s struggle, and unique solution, to fielding a competitive team against elite organizations like the New York Yankees.  What originated off the diamond in the depths of the Oakland Coliseum quickly entered the lexicon of all sports, and today the term MONEYBALL has come to represent far more than purely statistical data of slugging percentage, defensive capability, and on-base percentage.

Regardless of the product it’s all about the value these days.  Customers are better educated, more adept at comparison shopping, and expect more for their dollar.  In the powersports world KYMCO has been building components and even entire machines for some of the other manufacturers and by doing so they’ve learned what customers are looking for, how to maintain world class quality standards, and how to build efficiently; all keystones of value.
