DEI Powersports Introduces Auxiliary Fan Kit for Honda® Pioneer 1000 UTV

Keeps “Big Red’s” flagship UTV cool and comfortable in extreme conditions

Avon Lake, Ohio (February 20, 2017)…Honda’s flagship Pioneer UTV features an impressive 1000cc high output engine that is known for generating a lot of heat that can creep into the passenger area. DEI now offers an auxiliary fan kit that actively removes the hot air, reducing component stress and adding to rider comfort. This is especially helpful during slow riding conditions such as trail riding or while working on property.

DEI Powersports has developed a custom cut, 11 piece kit that includes a double walled main heat shield, a single walled floor pan heat shield, nine additional pieces to cover the transmission tunnel, rocker panels and center console.

  Avon Lake, Ohio (August 17, 2015)…Polaris® has redefined the powersports market segment with the recent introduction of its exciting three-wheeled Slingshot™. With its compact design and 4 cylinder engine, the muffler, catalytic converter, and exhaust manifold all reside in close proximity to one another on the right side of the vehicle. This concentration of heat easily transfers into the passenger area, cooking the floor and cockpit area.

The compact space around the engine and headers can get pretty toasty on most UTV’s. Especially when running under hard riding conditions. DEI now offers an inexpensive and easy solution to help avoid melted plastic and keep heat away from the passenger. Our heat shield is made up of and heavy-duty 10 mil aluminum with 1/8” glass mat barrier material, pre-cut to the correct size for the RZR 800. Mounting hardware is also included to make installation a breeze.
