New 2015 Bobcat utility vehicles offer exceptional performance for increased productivity

(WEST FARGO, N.D. — December 2014) Workers wanting to get tasks done more quickly and efficiently won’t have to look any further than the new 2015 four-wheel drive Bobcat® 3400 and 3400XL utility vehicles. As a leader in compact equipment, Bobcat Company has launched the new 3400 and 3400XL, with improved suspension systems, new industry-leading features, industry-leading payload and towing, faster travel speeds and more integrated accessories.Both the 3400 and 3400XL models have a sealed constant velocity transmission and are available with two engine configurations: a 40-horsepower (570 cc) gas engine or a 24-horsepower (1120 cc) diesel engine. The gas and diesel engines provide operators with greater performance — up to 40 mph with a dealer-installed kit.

(WEST FARGO, N.D. — March 7, 2013) Bobcat Company, a leader in compact equipment, is breaking new ground in the utility vehicle market with superior performance and productivity with the new 3600 and 3650 hydrostatic drive utility vehicles. Continuing a rich tradition of customer-driven advancements, the 3650 model will take attachment capabilities to a new level as the industry’s first utility vehicle with the capacity to operate front-mounted PTO attachments.Not only are the 3600 and 3650 hydrostatic drive utility vehicles designed to handle and haul more materials for grooming commercial buildings and grounds or maintaining personal properties, but they are the first utility vehicles in the Bobcat® lineup to offer cabs with heat and air conditioning. This will provide more comfort than a typical utility vehicle while transporting passengers and for completing multiple work tasks, such as hauling, mowing, sweeping and snow removal.

Bobcat and Polaris co-developed commercial utility vehicles

To celebrate the launch of the first Bobcat and Polaris co-developed commercial utility vehicles, Bobcat Executives Richard Goldsbury, Mike Ballweber, Chuck Krause and Brad Claus joined Polaris Executives Bennett Morgan, David Longren and Marc Tullemans, at Polaris’ assembly plant in Milford, Iowa to see the first vehicles roll off the assembly line. The vehicles, branded as Bobcat 3600 and 3650, and Polaris BRUTUS™ models, are the outcome of a strategic alliance formed in 2009 between the two companies. The celebration concluded with lunch for the teams responsible for developing and assembling the new vehicles.

Extendable arms for Bobcat E42, E45 and E55 compact excavators add more versatility

(WEST FARGO, N.D. — September 2012) Bobcat Company, a leader in compact equipment innovations, has added more versatility to three machines with a new extendable arm option for the M-Series E42, E45 and E55 compact excavators. The extendable arm is a telescoping arm that provides the best of both worlds — power and reach — and will appeal to customers working in space-restricted areas, allowing them more flexibility to clean out trenches and to place soil further away from an excavation. Bobcat E42 and E45 excavators with the extendable-arm option feature a 24-inch range of motion with maximum dig depths of 12 feet 6 inches and 12 feet 10 inches, respectively. The extendablearm option includes an additional counterweight. The Bobcat E55 excavator with extendable-arm option has a 30-inch range of motion and a maximum dig depth of 14 feet 7 inches; approximately 22 inches more dig depth than an E55 with the standard arm configuration.

(WEST FARGO, N.D. — April 17, 2012) Bobcat Company and Menlo Worldwide Logistics today announced the expansion of operations at Bobcat’s Manufacturing Support Center (MSC) in Bismarck. Bobcat also announced plans to acquire additional land at the Northern Plains Commerce Center (NPCC), to create an Innovation Center for product development and testing.
