A simple, effective clutch kit to re-calibrate the 2014 Polaris 900cc RANGER XP (non EBS) Utility Vehicle for over sized tires.The kit includes a new secondary clutch spring and new primary spring (actually two of them). The secondary spring is always used with one of the supplied primary springs. We have included two options for primary springs and either will function in this package.Some riders use a certain tire size for seasonal use or conditions, and not all riders like the same clutch characteristics. It is not that one spring or the other is better, it is personal preference. There is good detail on the characteristics in the "set up guide" that comes with the kit.

It was never a matter of if Polaris would build this model, but when, and when turned out to be a lot sooner than we imagined. Polaris has a pattern of releasing a new model, then following up with other versions within a year. As it turned out with their newest, baddest, hi-performance four seat machine, the RZR XP 4 1000 EPS, it was only a matter of months.

Valcourt, Québec, August 21, 2014 – Can-Am® ATV and side-by-side racers competed at the 2014 Heartland Challenge endurance race, the Vegas To Reno Best In The Desert series and round eight of the New England ATV Motocross series, earning podiums in all three events. “Our team of Can-Am ATV and side-by-side racers had a busy-but-successful weekend across the US. The Murrays earned a hard-fought third-place finish in a very difficult Vegas-to-Reno race while our other sibling teams, in the Pratts and Millers, notched big wins in Iowa,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “From endurance racing in Iowa and the Nevada desert to motocross in Maine, our racers again proved Can-Am is an excellent choice for serious competitors.”

Coastal Racing Takes Best in the Desert’s Vegas to Reno

Minneapolis, Aug. 21, 2014–Vegas to Reno is known as the largest off-road race s in the U.S. spanning 534 miles. This year, 40 side-by-sides lined up, more than half being RZRs, to tackle the desert between the two cities. On the ATV side, Team UXC/Driven Powersports/Polaris Factory Racing would line up their Scrambler XP 1000 as the only 4x4 to tackle the race. Coastal/Holz Racing’s No. 1934 RZR XP 1000 would start in fifteenth with Scott Kiger and co-driver Tyler king starting the race. By Pit 6, where they’d have a driver change, Kiger had moved up to the top five giving Mark Holz and co-driver Rob Utendorfer great position to finish the race strong.

ITP Racers Capture Six ATV MX National Championships

Ontario, California, August 18, 2014 - Team ITP racers won eight classes, tallied 21 podiums and officially wrapped up six class championships at the finale of the 2014 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship series held in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.  "We had a big weekend at Loretta's in Tennessee, winning several classes and earning almost two-dozen podiums. More importantly, Jeffrey Rastrelli captured the Pro-Am championship with an impressive double-moto sweep and four other racers took home five amateur class titles," said Pat McGuire, Public Relations / Race Support. "Josh Creamer also proved ITP tires are versatile and offer lots of traction even in poor conditions. He grabbed the holeshot and second-moto victory in the Pro class on Saturday, despite the horribly muddy track. It was a good way to end the year."

Valcourt, Québec, August 18, 2014 – Can-Am® DS 450™ racers competed at round nine of the 2014 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Series held at Loretta Lynn’s Motocross in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Can-Am racer Josh Creamer earned his first Pro class podium of the season while fellow DS 450 pilot Jeffrey Rastrelli secured the Pro-Am class championship with a victory at the series finale. “We had a good showing at Loretta Lynn’s in Tennessee. We secured the Pro-Am class championship with Jeffrey Rastrelli and earned second overall in the Pro class championship points race with Joel Hetrick,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “The finale was also big for Josh Creamer, as he easily won the second Pro class moto on his way to earning his first Pro class podium finish of the season.”
