Portland, OR (11/1/16) – Warn Industries’ Heavy Weight Series winches will now be available with lightweight, easy-to-handle WARN Spydura® and Spydura Pro synthetic rope, a WARN Epic Hook, and a polished hawse fairlead. The winches, available in 12,000, 15,000, and 16,500 lb. capacities will still be available with wire rope, but buyers will now have the choice to go with a lighter, easier-to-handle synthetic line option. Models equipped with Spydura rope receive an “S” designator (e.g. M12-S, M15-S, 16.5ti-s). Plus, all models now have waterproof Albright® contactors for the ultimate in electronic reliability and control. Additionally, WARN winches sold after Nov. 1, 2016 in North America now also include a limited lifetime warranty on mechanical components and an industry best seven year warranty on electrical components. 
M12-S The new WARN M12-S has a 12,000 lb. capacity and is a true workhorse. It’s equipped with 100’ of 3/8” Spydura synthetic rope, which is constructed from a robust high-molecular weight polyethylene material. It offers high abrasion resistance and tremendous tensile strength. It’s coated with hightemperature urethane for UV and chemical resistance, a temperature-resistant sleeve on the first layer, and has a ballistic nylon sliding sleeve for further abrasion resistance. This winch includes an Epic Hook and a polished hawse fairlead, too. A tried-and-true model, this the M12/M12-S are great for full-size, ¾ ton trucks and large SUVs.
M15-S The new WARN M15-S has a big 15,000 lb. capacity for users who need big pulling power. It comes with 80’ of 3/8” Spydura Pro synthetic rope made from Spectra® 1000 material. This rope is heat treated offering the maximum tensile strength and load-bearing capacity. The compacted diameter prevents sand and dirt from penetrating the fibers and extends the rope’s life. Coated with hightemperature urethane, the rope has a temperature-resistant sleeve on the first layer and a ballistic 
nylon sliding sleeve to protect against abrasion. The winch has a WARN Epic Hook on the end and includes a polished hawse fairlead. This winch is also great for ¾ ton to 1-ton trucks and other larger, heavier rigs.
16.5ti-s The new 16.5ti-s is the perfect combination of brawn and brains, and also offers 80’ of 3/8” Spydura Pro synthetic rope, a WARN Epic Hook, and a hawse fairlead. The 16.5ti-s features a thermometric indicator LED on the winch remote that lets users know when the winch’s motor is getting hot during the longest, hardest pulls. It also has a waterproof contactor, durable metal control box and extreme sealing to keep the elements out. This 16,500 lb. capacity winch is the biggest truck winch we offer and is ideal for the heaviest, largest vehicles.
