That's a Wrap! Team Dragonfire Ready for the Mint 400

Defending SxS Champ Lacrecia Beurrier Goes For Pro 1000 Win This Weekend

2014.can-am.maverick1000.dragonfire-ridenow.larcrecia-beurrier.jpgChandler, AZ March 12, 2014 — Starting with today's procession down Las Vegas Blvd., the pre-race festivities for The Mint 400 are kicking off! It took a couple of round-the-clock sessions and a quick side trip from her Lake Havasu, Arizona, home to the DragonFire HQ in Chandler, but things are finally wrapped up on Lacrecia Beurrier's new Can-Am Pro 1000 Maverick… literally! The graphics gurus at Wolf Designs were able to get the vehicle wrapped the night before it was hauled to Nevada to participate in today's parade of racers down "The Strip."

Lacrecia Beurrier's Team DragonFire/RideNow/Can-Am Pro 1000 Maverick joined more than 50 Trophy Trucks and $10 million worth of custom-fabricated off-roaders thundering down the strip this afternoon. Headed by 1973 Mint 400 winner and iconic American racer, Parnelli Jones, the procession is a tribute to the parades that took place on Fremont Street decades ago. Now that the car is looking good and has its first public appearance under its belt, it is almost time to go racing! Following the parade, the racer goes on display at the RideNow dealership on Rancho for an exclusive up-close and personal look for sponsors, media and VIPs Thursday night; onto Contingency Row Friday, and finally, the race itself on Saturday! "Our new Can-Am Maverick looks 'marvhelous' thanks to the wrap by Wolf Designs and Mothers Polish," says Lacrecia, stealing a phrase from Billy Crystal's old Saturday Night Live skit. "Now I can't wait to go racing!" In a couple of shakedown runs made without the bodywork in place she says, "This Can-Am is FAST!"

While she hopes the speed will take her to the winners circle on Saturday, Lacrecia wants her fans to cash in on The Mint 400 experience as well. She is teaming up with sponsors such as Mothers and RideNow to give away goody bags during tech inspection on Friday. The first 400 folks to stop by the Team DragonFire/RideNow/Can-Am display on contingency row can strike it rich! In a gift that keeps on giving, they are also selling Team Shirts with the proceeds going to Cedars-Sinai to support cancer research. As if this weren't enough, all three Las Vegas area RideNow dealerships (Rancho, Boulder and Craig) are offering 10% off any DragonFire product. Las Vegas locals can redeem this discount until 3/31/2014.

Lacrecia would like to thank all her sponsors, including DragonFire, RideNow, Can-Am, Bell, BSsand.com, Bulldog LED Lighting, CP-Carrillo, Elka, EPI, ITP, Mothers Polish, Muzzys, Parker Oil, Rockstar Customs, Royal Purple, Rugged Radios, Wicked Bilt and Wolf Graphics. ABOUT LACRECIA BEURRIER:

This two-time Mint 400 winner races for a reason — she is out to honor the survival, determination and compassion of those fighting breast cancer. The pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness is not something Lacrecia just slapped on the car last October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. “Racing to support the cure is where it all started for me,” she says. “My first race in my old Rhino was a charity event to raise money for the program.” Lacrecia quickly went from charity events and powderpuff racing to the real deal, competing in what is billed as America’s toughest off-road race, the Mint 400! Not only did she finish the race, she won the Sportsman UTV class first time out and then came back to successfully defend her title… proudly running the ribbon and pink trim for both her Mint 400 wins. She is a true champion, on and off track — when she is not ripping it up on the race course, Lacrecia’s “real” job is as a registered nurse in Lake Havasu, Arizona. DragonFire, RideNow and Can-Am are honored to have teamed up with Lacrecia’s Rockstar Custom Motorsports effort this season.
