ODYSSEY® Extreme Series™ Batteries by EnerSys® Provide Twice the Overall Power as Conventional Lead Acid Batteries

ODYSSEY® Extreme Series™ batteries are found in various types of applications, including emergency response, heavy duty/commercial, off-road, classic and antique cars, motorcycles and powersports, as well as other high performance and modified vehicles.
ODYSSEY® Extreme Series™ batteries consist of Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology, as well as dry cell Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) separators that hold acid in place to prevent spills, even when installed on its side. Robust intercell connectors are casted to the plates and bonded, helping to resist vibration. Additionally, alloy coated brass terminals help ensure secure, corrosion-free cable connections.

ODYSSEY® Extreme Series™ batteries can provide engine-cranking pulses up to 2,250 amps and can handle 400 charge-discharge cycles to 80% depth of discharge. Select models are available with a metal casing for high heat applications.

ODYSSEY® batteries feature a three- to 10-year service life and two-year storage life at 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees Celsius). They are vibration resistant, classified as “non-spillable” by the U.S. Department of Transportation and include a limited two- to four-year full replacement warranty.
