MAXIMA Racing Oils Now Available at Summit Racing

KB Racing—home of Summit Racing’s NHRA Pro Stock drivers Greg Anderson and Jason Line—leaves no stone unturned in the search for horsepower and engine reliability. Its engine oil of choice is MAXIMA, specifically PSO fully synthetic motor oil designed just for Pro Stock drag racing. The stuff must work—Greg and Jason share seven Pro Stock championships between them.

You might not need a full-boogie racing oil like KB Racing uses, but you’ll get the same quality protection from every quart of MAXIMA engine oil, transmission fluid, and other lubricants that you use. Summit Racing carries a big selection of MAXIMA oils for automotive and powersports applications including these:
 
 
SEMI-SYN Racing Oil helps free up horsepower and reduces wear on bearings, cams, lifters, and crankshafts for longer engine life. The high zinc/phosphorous formula is a blend of synthetic esters and highly refined petroleum base stocks. Anti-wear/extreme-pressure additives protect critical components from high engine loads and temperatures, and shear-stable polymers resist oil breakdown and viscosity loss. SEMI-SYN can be used in flat tappet and roller cam engines and is available in 10W40 and 20W50 weights.  MAXIMA does not recommend SEMI-SYN for street use on emissions-controlled engines. 
 
 
MAXIMA SYN ATF is made for automatic transmissions that live behind big horsepower engines.  The fully synthetic, no-slip formula offers positive shift engagement and reduces clutch drag. Special additives help increase heat transfer and minimize clutch burn-in time to reduce operating temperatures. SYN ATF is thermally stable, inhibiting the formation of lacquer, varnish, and harmful deposits for longer transmission life and trouble-free operation. It’s available in 10, 20, and 30 weight. 
 
 
Many shock builders, chassis engineers, and race teams choose MAXIMA Shock Fluid for its consistency under high-stress conditions. Ideal for road course, stock car, late model, and off-road racing, it has an extremely high viscosity index (over 350+), low pour point, and friction reducing additives that eliminate seal drag and provide consistent shock performance over a weight temperature range. MAXIMA’s advanced additive system contains seal conditioners, anti-foam, anti-oxidants, and corrosion inhibitors. 
 
Petroleum-based Racing Shock Fluid is available in 10 (heavy), 7 (medium), and 3 (light) weight. 
Synthetic Racing Shock Fluid is available in 3 weight and ultra-light 0 weight. 
 
This 10W40 weight petroleum motor oil is designed specifically for ATVs. Anti-wear and anti-shear additives ensure the oil is viscosity stable for use in four-cycle engines with integrated transmissions. Extra anti-scuff additives help extend engine life under extreme loads and high temperatures, and anti-corrosion additives resist the formation of moisture. ATV Premium 4T Engine Oil meets or exceeds API SL and JASO MA2 specifications.


Two-cycle engines lead a tough life. MAXIMA Castor 927 Pre-Mix Lubricant blends highly refined castor oil, a special synthetic, and additives to reduce carbon and gum formation and provide excellent protection against rust and corrosion. It provides extra protection on cylinder walls, bearing journals, and other critical areas at high temperatures. It also contains an exclusive additive that keeps power valves cleaner and working properly. Castor 927 is fully biodegradable.


MAXIMA Chain Guard is a synthetic chain lubricant reinforced with anti-wear and extreme-pressure additives. It also has additives to prevent "fling-off" and protect against rust and corrosion. Chain Guard won’t harm O-rings and is an excellent lubricant for motorcycle control cables.
