2012 White Knuckle Event at Brimstone Recreational

logo.2012.white-knuckle-event.jpgHUNTSVILLE, TN.- April 26, 2012  OHV enthusiasts from throughout North America will gather in Huntsville, TN for the annual White Knuckle Event (May 25th-May 27th) to enjoy the Cumberland Mountains, competitive events and the latest country hits from Nashville’s finest. The White Knuckle Event (WKE) is Brimstone’s springtime main event held annually on Memorial Day. Branded as the “hold on tight” event of the year, the White Knuckle Event attracts off-road enthusiasts from throughout the country and is tagged the “Woodstock of ATV and SXS Events” going on its sixth year with attendance doubling each year.  The event throttles up on Friday the 25th starting with guided trail rides throughout the day and Ritchie Brother’s ultimate “Dueling Drag Race” under the Southern lights of the Half Cabin event arena.

On Saturday May 26th, the Kawasaki “Wild Mountain Rampage” kicks off as the rage of the 2012 WKE and featured as the latest challenge with the ultimate geocache prize, the supreme exploration ride, Teryx4.  The event will require the mastery of riding skills, GPS navigation /mapping skills, and knowledge of the Brimstone trails.     

Each participant will explore the widely diverse terrain of Brimstone in search of participating vendor Geo Cache locations where each vendor will host a sampling of their “New 2012” featured products. Each participant will also have a chance to win prizes at each Geo Cache location by following the clues provided at registration. This is labeled the ultimate orienteering Brimstone challenge SPONSORED BY KAWASAKI “Off Road Rated Teryx4”.

 Following the Wild Mountain Rampage, attendees will have the opportunity to enter a wide range of events such as Brimstone’s Staff Challenge obstacle course and GBC’s “Dueling Mud Bog”. WKE 2012 will be capped off with a rocking live concert performance by the up-and-coming group “Laura Bell Bundy” with special guest country music star “Chris Cagle” sponsored by Yamaha.  The Brimstone Moonshine Run will bring the event to a close on Sunday evening.
