Can-Am Pro Joel Hetrick Wins High Point MX National

Valcourt, Québec, May 20, 2014 – Can-Am® DS 450™ ATV Pro Joel Hetrick notched his first Pro class win of the year Saturday at round three of the 2014 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship series held in Mount Morris, Pa. Can-Am DS 450 racers Jeffrey Rastrelli and Ronnie Higgerson also went 1-2 in the Pro-Am class Sunday at the renowned High Point Raceway.“Can-Am DS 450 racers had a solid weekend for us, winning both the Pro and Pro-Am classes at the High Point National,” said Jeff Leclerc, Racing Project Leader, Can-Am. “I’m thrilled to see Joel Hetrick earn the Pro class win. He’s been battling out front all year and is very deserving of this impressive victory. Jeffrey Rastrelli has been showing great speed all year and his 1-1 sweep in the Pro-Am ranks proves it. Both he and Can-Am racer Ronnie Higgerson will battle all season long for that top spot.”

Motoworks / Can-Am DS 450 Team Wins 2012 Baja 1000

Valcourt, Québec, November 26, 2012 – After a 27-hour battle with the most brutal racing terrain the Baja Peninsula of Mexico has to offer, the Motoworks / Can-Am DS 450 team of Josh Frederick, Jeremie Warnia, Collins Webster and Jarrod McClure crossed the finish line ahead of 297 other starters and 1121 miles away from the start line of the Baja 1000 in Ensenada, Mexico. Once across the line, the team was officially declared the Pro ATV-class winner of the 45th running of the Baja 1000.“This team was prepared to deliver BRP its first Pro ATV-class victory in over a decade and the first for the DS 450 ATV,” said Jimmie O’Dell, Can-Am off-road race manager. “The dedication by the entire Motoworks team was evident from pre-running to the finish; I am proud that they are an important partner with BRP.” 

Can-Am Commander and DS 450 victorious at opening round of 2011 WORCS season

Valcourt, Québec, January 25, 2011 – Team Motoworks / Can-Am had an excellent opening to its 2011 World Off-Road Championship Series race season as factory driver Mark Holz piloted his Can-Am Commander 1000 side-by-side vehicle to the Class 1 victory in front of some of the best side-by-drivers in North America. His teammate, Jeremie Warnia also took the Pro-class victory on his Can-Am DS 450 ATV completing the weekend sweep of the premier classes by Motoworks / Can-Am.
