We always have work to do around the yard or farm, and a couple times a year that includes grading the drive to take out the holes that somehow develop on their own for no apparent reason. In the past that has meant a rake and shovel, but it’s darn near impossible when the drive is one step below the hardness of concrete. Thankfully, we’ve finally solved that problem and now we’ve got a tool that makes it a whole lot easier.
Whether you’re tending a hunting food plot, a backyard garden, or a huge field, weed control is the key to a healthy crop. Kill the weeds, spread a little fertilizer, and with a rain shower now and then you have a good chance at a successful stand. The first step is to kill the weeds.
Even before you’ve climbed into your hunting stands this year, a little work on your food plots now can go a long way towards paying out in next year’s hunting season. There are a couple big reasons to work on next year’s fields now; to get crops that must be planted in the fall in the ground and growing, and to get much better weed control.
Summer means time for fun, but it also leads to one of the most despised jobs for all home and property owners: cutting grass. Just as with so many other tasks, luckily our year round four-wheeled buddies can help out and there are several mower options to cut your job down to size.
Unless you’re running a country club where reel mowers are the choice for a perfect cut, there are two main types of mowers you can pull behind your ATV. We’ll explain the benefits and uses of both.

Spring is Mother Nature’s payback for her debt of winter. The first bright, balmy days coax tulips from the wet ground, grass springs to life with the first warm rain, and invariably your neighbor fires up his old lawnmower just to be sure you didn’t forget the joys he and his Briggs & Stratton dole out for anyone in a half mile radius. No worries though; spring is the season of eternal hope when all is right with the world and many people long to plant something of their own in Mother Earth to watch it grow.
