IT MAY SEEM A LONG WAY BETWEEN ENGINE ADDITIVES AND CLEANING PRODUCTS, BUT IT’S REALLY JUST CHEMISTRY. WHEN SUPPLIES OF HAND SANITIZER WENT DRY, HOT SHOT’S SECRET SHIFTED GEARS AND PUT THE PRODUCT INTO AND ON THE HANDS THAT NEEDED IT!

Your tires and bodywork aren’t the only thing that can get a little scuffed up or punctured on the trail, so can your hide. Riders often put a huge amount of thought and effort into selecting the right wheels, skid plates, and all manner of parts for their machine, but almost no effort into a first aid kit to patch up any medical emergency either they or a riding partner might encounter.

As much as I love my iPhone, I do have to question the idea of making a phone out of such breakable materials. Somehow the people at Apple must have much grippier skin than the average off-road magazine editor, and they apparently don’t ever drop their phones. Unless you live in some kind of a bubble, you’re eventually going to drop your phone and it could potentially get a bit ugly. (Read as expensive). It’s a must to have some kind of protection.

The one injury athletes in every sport fear is devastating damage to the spine.  However remote the possibility, it’s always there and for the unfortunate few who suffer such an injury, it’s almost always a life changing event.  Thankfully, new materials, better methods, and advanced medical research have aided the recovery for some, but nothing beats doing all you can to avoid the injury in the first place.
