THERE ARE LOTS OF GREAT TRAILS TO RIDE IN NORTH AMERICA. IT’S THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE THAT CREATES A GREAT ADVENTURE THOUGH. IN ALL OUR YEARS OF TRAVELING, WE’VE NEVER FOUND ANYPLACE BETTER THAN WILDLIFE REFUGE CABINS.

We’ve named the Best ATV of 2018 and the Best Side x Side of 2018, but a big part of the adventure is where you ride and stay.  Clean, cozy, and close to the trail are a priority, but a local dealer with parts, and a few places for supplies are important also.  We’ve found one place that has it all and it’s our pick as the Best ATV & SxS Resort of 2018.

Six foot waves pound into the rusty stones and exposed bedrock of Lake Superior's southern shore. With no visible land across the water, several in our group more accustomed to the deserts of the Southwest wonder aloud if they are standing at a northern ocean. They’re right in a way; by volume Superior is the largest freshwater lake in the world. Along the beach in either direction, there is nothing but frothy waves, the red stones rich with raw iron, and a deep green pine forest behind, all under an impossibly blue sky.
