Not since Little House on the Prairie have we been so fond of a Pioneer family. The Pioneer 500, 700, and 1000 all have their unique uses but they share one very important feature; they’re all infused with a healthy dose of Honda DNA. Each is outstanding in their own way and recently we had an opportunity to ride all three and try out new features.

Honda’s do-it-all Pioneer 700s have taken the side-by-side world by storm with their versatility and affordability, and now they both have a new dual-rate front suspension designed to deliver a smoother ride while still providing plenty of travel and superior load-carrying capacity. They also feature a hydraulic-assisted tilt bed; durable, beltless automatic transmission; long-travel, double-wishbone front and rear suspension; and rubber-mounted 675cc liquid-cooled engine. There are also a number of comfort and convenience features and a long list of available accessories.The four-person Pioneer 700-4 boasts the industry’s first QuickFlipTM convertible rear seating design, which can switch from seating configurations for two, three or four people, and it’s available in a new Metallic Silver color. Both the Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 700-4 are designed, developed and built in the U.S.

Trail Armor Honda Pioneer 700 Full Skids

Trail Armor's full skid plate set for the Honda Pioneer 700 year start 2014. Made from 1/2" high density UHMW, these plastic skidsabsorb shock to the bottom of the vehicle with no dents or rust and are lighter than traditional metal skids. Strategically placed drain holes allow dirt and debris to wash out - you don't have to remove them to clean out the belly your vehicle. This skid set also features a convenient oil drain access panel and access to the oil filter.
