Pro Comp has just released the Xtreme MT2 in a 40x13.50R17.
The new Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 radial is designed for full-size trucks and SUVs that see a combination of on and off road use. No matter if its hauling heavy loads or exploring rugged terrain, the new Xtreme MT2 delivers the toughness and traction needed to get the job done.
The aggressive open tread design was optimized using computer modeling to deliver unsurpassed grip and control without excessive noise. It also delivers improved self-cleaning performance in mud and snow. The tread blocks have a 2-step design provides stability while improving braking performance and promoting even tread wear. The alternating scalloped shoulder lugs and the continuous tread pattern on the upper sidewall bite into the dirt, mud, rocks and trenches for positive traction. Strategically placed rock rejection ribs between the tread blocks keep rocks from clogging the tire. The Xtreme MT2 also utilizes Tri-ply construction for maximum cut and puncture resistance in the sidewall, while two steel belts and a spiral-wound nylon overwrap provides superior stability and load carrying ability at highway speeds. This high-tech mud tire also features a unique tread rubber compound that is coupled with silica, which enhances traction on wet roads and in the cold. The Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 radial tires are available in sizes from 31” – 40” diameter. Tires are also available for new 80psi E load range applications. These new tires come standard with a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty – an Industry First Mud Terrain Treadwear Warranty!
