SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Baja Designs(r) has announced the introduction of two multi-purpose lights -- the Rock Light and Dome Light. The two lights share a common theme -- very compact, bright and useful in a wide variety of applications.
Both lights share the same light source, a 208 Lumen, 180° optic for full-field illumination, and use the Baja Designssignature 5000K Daylight bulb for natural lighting.
The Rock Light offers racers and street enthusiasts a wide variety of utility uses - including wheel well lighting for night-time wheel/tire replacements, under hood lighting for service or repair, bed lighting, interior and exterior trailer lighting and many other potential applications, limited only by imagination. It can be mounted on a flat surface or on a curved surface like a roll bar. The light is enclosed in a waterproof/dustproof hard black anodized CNC-machined aircraft grade billet aluminum housing.
Baja Designs' Dome Light is a very compact design for truck interiors, automobiles and industrial or commercial vehicles. The LED Dome Light can be mounted on a flat surface or tube as well. The light is enclosed in a waterproof/dustproof hard black anodized CNC-machined aircraft grade billet aluminum housing. This light offers a wide variety of utility interior uses - including a dome light, foot box light, enclosed trailer lighting and many other applications in street or race vehicles. While extremely compact, the LED Dome Light delivers a light which is 1.5 times brighter than larger, competitive lights. Both lights can be mounted by stainless steel fasteners or extreme-duty nylon cable ties, which are included for mounting purposes.
As with all Baja Designs lights, the Rock and Dome Lights feature the company's exclusive CopperDrive(r) circuitry with built-in overvoltage protection. They meet and exceed several stringent testing standards -- MIL-STD810G (Mil-Spec Testing), IP69K (waterproof up to 9 feet, pressure washable) and are IK10 Compliant (Mechanical Impact Testing).
