Yamaha had a problem, not with one ATV in particular, but instead with a lack of choices. For the last couple years every ATV in the Yamaha utility lineup featured the same 708cc engine. That left a lot of midsize utility ATV buyers wanting, and eventually buying elsewhere as manufacturers like Polaris, Honda, Can-Am and Arctic Cat filled out their lineups with plenty of midsize ATVs.

ABC Television’s Wide World of Sports began every broadcast with amazing video (Who could forget the agony of defeat skier Vinko Bogataj?), but also with the words, “Spanning the globe”.  Argo could say the same.  Known far and wide for their water and marshland loving line o

If you’re going to be riding in West Virginia there are a few things you need to be prepared for.  Trail terrain can vary widely, from easy trails to challenging climbs littered with rocks.  There is always a little (and sometimes a lot) of mud to be found thanks to water weeping out of the hillsides as well.  It’s exactly the type of terrain most ATV and Side x Side riders love, but we recommend you bring a tire repair kit and a small 12v c

The maker of the newest accessory for our GMC truck really did think of everything, right down to the nitty-gritty details of fishing a bolt through a blind hole and including a trick little tool to make it easier.  That’s not always the case when installing an accessory.  Often times it can be a frustrating matter of trial, error, rework and refit.  Not this time!  The ACCESS ORIGINAL SLANTBACK Roll-Up Cover was all access right down to the smallest details.

Not since Little House on the Prairie have we been so fond of a Pioneer family. The Pioneer 500, 700, and 1000 all have their unique uses but they share one very important feature; they’re all infused with a healthy dose of Honda DNA. Each is outstanding in their own way and recently we had an opportunity to ride all three and try out new features.

I grew up riding dirt bikes, 3 wheelers, quads and 4X4’s in the desert. As I got older, starting a marriage, a family, and two companies took all of my time and then some, but it was hard not to miss the riding and the dirt toys of youth. It was time to get back into the sport but with the current responsibilities to family and employees I would need the protection of a roll cage.

An old expression comes to mind when it comes to the subject of choosing an ATV for a young rider. “It’s like shooting fish in a barrel”. Your choices are far from limited. The problem is that while there is a large pool to choose from, there are very few that are worthy of taking up the space on your garage floor. You can’t pick up a weekly auto-swapper magazine without seeing the ads for no-name 50, 90, 110, or even 125cc youth ATVs, many of which can be had for less money than a monthly payment on a new diesel pickup.

When Mike Smith, President of Odes UTV, invited us to Dallas, Texas to attend their Odes National Dealer Training Expo we were very enthusiastic. This would be an opportunity for a behind the scenes peek at what transpires between a manufacturer and the actual dealerships in the Industry.
