Ashland Resort receives an "A" grade in the third annual consumer satisfaction survey of independent, privately-owned parks

Ashland, West Virginia, February 2, 2011 – Ashland Resort was one of only 33 campgrounds, RV parks and resorts across the country to earn an all around “A” grade in the third annual GuestRated™ satisfaction survey of independent parks.This 76-site ATV park, located on State Route 17 at Ashland, received an “A” grade in overall guest satisfaction for the year 2010. Ashland Resort, an ATV campground [www.atvresort.com] imbedded in Hatfield-McCoy’s Indian Ridge Trail System, provides direct trail access. Can-Am Commander and DS 450 victorious at opening round of 2011 WORCS season

Valcourt, Québec, January 25, 2011 – Team Motoworks / Can-Am had an excellent opening to its 2011 World Off-Road Championship Series race season as factory driver Mark Holz piloted his Can-Am Commander 1000 side-by-side vehicle to the Class 1 victory in front of some of the best side-by-drivers in North America. His teammate, Jeremie Warnia also took the Pro-class victory on his Can-Am DS 450 ATV completing the weekend sweep of the premier classes by Motoworks / Can-Am.

CYPRESS, Calif. – January 20, 2011 – Yamaha Outdoors is pleased to announce the winner of its third annual Yamaha-National Hunting and Fishing (NHF) Day ATV sweepstakes. Determined by random drawing, Yamaha congratulates Natalie Uribe-De Freitas from Santa Clara, Calif., who has won a new 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 450 ATV with Electric Power Steering (EPS) valued at $7,499.NHF Day was formalized by Congress as a public reminder that hunters, anglers and shooters are America’s premier conservation supporters who generate $100,000 every 30 minutes for fish, wildlife and habitat programs. Scheduled annually on the fourth Saturday of September, the 2010 celebration of hunting, fishing and conservation took place on September 25 – with 120 registered events held in more than 40 states. The events provided an opportunity to share the NHF Day message, introduce new participants to outdoor recreational activities, and demonstrate the positive impact these activities have on conservation efforts.

Rocky Creek and Just Add Dirt will host the first ever Gamblers race for mudders. This contest will determine who has the baddest machine in the mud with an all out atv mud race. The entry fee is directly proportional to the pay out, with a $200.00 entrance fee and a limited number of 120 racers (100 reservations on line, 20 at the gate) the purse will reach $24,000.00. The payouts will be as follows: 50% first place, 30% second place, and 20% for third. There will be other prizes for the top finishers. SuperATV as offered to award the fourth place finisher a FULL set of their most aggressive 32" mud tires. Other prizes to follow from event sponsors. The event will be at Rocky Creek in Georgia on February 4,5,6th, and feature other interesting activities. Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., Announces 2011 ATV Race Teams

CYPRESS, Calif. – January 13, 2011 – Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., is pleased to announced its 2011 ATV race team members including: Bill Ballance, Traci Cecco, Taylor Kiser and Walker Fowler in the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series; Thomas Brown in the ATVA/AMA National Motocross series; and Dustin Nelson in the revamped QuadX Series as well as the World Off Road Championship Series (WORCS). The MX racers will compete on the high-performance YFZ450R while the cross-country teams will continue to race the trail-optimized YFZ450X.

Valcourt, Québec, January 13, 2011 – For the 2011 ATV and side-by-side vehicle racing season, BRP will offer up more than US $1.6 million as part of its industry-leading Can-Am X-Team Racing Contingency Program. Can-Am ATV and side-by-side vehicle racers across Canada and the United States will be eligible for a cash payout though the program in the 2011 racing season.As in the past, riders of the Can-Am DS 450, Can-Am Outlander and Can-Am Renegade lines of ATVs are eligible for the cash payout. However, starting in the 2011 race season, drivers of the new Can-Am Commander 800R and Commander 1000 lines of side-by-side vehicles will be eligible for the program as well.

Jagged X Takes Parker 250 in RANGER RZR S

Minneapolis, January 12, 2011 – To open the first Best in the Desert race of 2011, the Parker 250, Jagged X chose to run their champion-winning former project X rock crawler to ring in the new race year. The No. 1919 did what it does best, win!Jagged X had to overcome a poor starting draw of 12th and 15 other side-by-sides to take the checkered flag. The local rains kept the dust to a minimum and gave Brandon Schueler and co-driver Mike West the ability to pick off competitors one-by-one and finish first.“We are very pleased to begin the year with a win,” said Bill Schueler of Jagged X. “This season should prove to be a very exciting one and we are excited to debut our new car in April.”
